AfAA Awards 2020: Winners Announced

The AfAA is pleased to report that the winners of the AfAA 2020 Awards have been announced by the Panel of Judges.  After an initial filtration by the AfAA Secretariat, of nominations that did not meet the category requirements, and voting by the Awards Committee Members (“Committee”), the Committee arrived at a Short list of the nominations for each Awards category (the “Shortlist"). Members of the Committee who were nominated refrained from voting in the award categories they were nominated for.

The Committee then submitted the Shortlist with supporting documents to the Panel of Judges to select the final winners and communicate its decision on the final awardees and presentation of Awards to the Committee. Prior to selection of the final winners by the Panel of Judges, the Shortlisted Nominees for each Award Category were required to submit a biography of not more than 1000 words, which were forwarded to the Panel of Judges for selection of the final winners. Upon completion of their work, the Panel of Judges communicated the final Awardees in each category to the Committee.  Winners of the Awards can be viewed here.  Trophies will be handed out to the winners at the Awards Ceremony in Accra in April 2021.  Congratulations to all the winners!
