Organisation Profile
With opening of her services to the world with the inaugural Rules in December 2015 the Nairobi Centre for International Arbitration is
an arbitral institution with its principal location in Nairobi, Kenya’s capital City and connection hub for the Continent to the rest of the
world.
The Centre offers a neutral venue for the conduct of international arbitration with commitment to providing institutional support
to the arbitral process. In addition, the Centre caters for domestic arbitration and other forms of dispute resolution such as mediation.
Our Arbitration and Mediation Rules provide a predictable and efficient tool for parties to structure their dispute settlement or resolution mechanism. We support these through our global trained dynamic Case Management team and case management systems.

The Centre offers a range of services, which include the following: -
1) Primarily administers domestic and international arbitration as well as other forms of alternative dispute resolution process under NCIA rules.

2) Appointment of arbitrators, mediators, and other alternative dispute resolution process specialists in non-NCIA Rules including the UNCITRAL Arbitration Rules.

3) Maintains a reputable list of arbitrators, mediators, and other alternative dispute resolution process specialists.

4) Hearing Facility and Training Centre.

5) Offers training in domestic and international arbitration as well as other forms of alternative dispute resolution process; and
