Hon. Lady Justice Joyce Aluoch to deliver the 2021 Roebuck Lecture 27 May 2021
Hon. Lady Justice Joyce Aluoch, EBS, CBS, MCArb, a retired Judge and a newly elected Board Member of the AfAA, has been nominated by the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, London, to deliver the 2021 Roebuck Lecture, on June 10. The Roebuck lecture, an annual flagship event now in its 11th year, is named in honour of Professor Derek Roebuck (MCArb) and celebrates the very significant contribution he made to the Institute over the years, principally as former Editor of Arbitration: The International Journal of Arbitration, Mediation and Dispute Management. The flagship event is one of the highlights of CIArb's events calendar and has invited prominent speakers from the world of ADR. Lady Justice Joyce Aluoch becomes the first ADR practitioner from the African continent to give the Roebuck lecture. |
