Victoria Barth is the Managing Partner and head of Litigation and Dispute Resolution at Sam Okudzeto & Associates, a leading law firm in Ghana. She started her career in 2002 as a Deputy State Attorney in the Civil Division of the Attorney-General’s Department and transitioned to private practice in 2003 as a junior associate with Sam Okudzeto & Associates. A seasoned trial lawyer, Victoria advocates for the interests of a wide range of clients before the Superior Courts of Ghana. Her practice focuses on dispute resolution through civil litigation and arbitration, providing specialist services on general corporate, labour, commercial and land litigation. Victoria employs a pragmatic and diligent approach to her clients’ needs and is well respected within the legal community for delivering the best outcome both in litigation and through alternative dispute resolution mechanisms. She teaches Advocacy and Legal Ethics at the Ghana School of Law and is a member of the ICC Task Force “Addressing Issues of Corruption in International Arbitration.” She serves on boards and honours speaking engagements on a wide range of topics. An active member of her church community, Victoria is married to Ben Barth and is the proud mother of four daughters. |
