Chief Bayo Ojo, SAN FCIArb is Senior Partner at Bayo Ojo & Co. He has extensive experience in all aspects of International Law, Corporate and commercial Law, Litigation and International Commercial Arbitration. He also sits as sole Arbitrator, member of arbitration panels, and has acted as Counsel in numerous domestic and international arbitrations both at the ICC and the LCIA over the last thirty six years. He has also acted as expert witness in international arbitrations including ICSID. He has mediated on several disputes as well. He is a former Attorney General and Minister of Justice of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, past President of the Nigerian Bar Association, past Chairman of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, Nigeria Branch. Ojo was also a member of the ICSID Panel of Arbitrators, a member of the Panel of the Permanent Court of Arbitration and is currently a member of the Board of Trustees of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators London, President of the African Users’ Council of the LCIA and Alternate Chairperson of the UNESCO Appeals Board in Paris. He is the proprietor of the International Centre for Arbitration and Mediation (ICAMA) Abuja, Nigeria.
