Foundation Course on ADR and Arbitration-Conduct & Practice

Course Content: Understand the history, law and practice of arbitration in Tanzania, Identification of various Arbitration Institution in Tanzania, Appointment of arbitrators and acceptance thereof, Arbitrator’s Time sheet and forms of charging fees, Preliminary hearing and Writing Orders for Directions, including Peremptory Orders and dealing with reluctant litigants, Pleadings/ written statement of case, definition of issues, Demonstration hearing, Cost and interest, Award (types, form, content and writing) and Filing awards in court.

Venue : The Law School of Tanzania

Duration : The Course will be conducted from 21st – 22nd April 2021 and 23rd April Exam.

Each day the course will start at 8.30 AM

Course Fees : The course fee is Tshs 750,000/= for both modules which covers tuition fees, course material with tea breaks and lunch.

Those who seat for exam only will pay Tshs 300,000/=
