The webinar will be chaired by Johan Beyers of Keating Chambers, who will introduce the need for good expert witness evidence in construction and engineering disputes.

Speakers:

• Warren Eales of EVRA Consulting will talk about expert evidence in an African context from the perspective of a delay expert;
• Phil Duggan, quantum expert, Diales, will detail the duties of expert witnesses with examples of common failures; and
• Stuart Holdsworth, Diales, will illustrate how critical technical expertise can be to a party’s success, and identify the attributes of a good technical expert.
