Meet the female African Arbitrator: Njeri Kariuki

The African Subcommittee of the ERA Pledge (supported by the Association of Young Arbitrators and An African Promise) is excited t­­o announce our upcoming ‘Meet the female African Arbitrator’ limited seven-part series.

The series will be kicking off on 15 September 2020 from 6pm-7pm BST where we will be sitting down (virtually) with esteemed Kenyan arbitrator and advocate, Njeri Kariuki.

Ms Kariuki is an advocate who has specialised in resolving disputes through arbitration and ADR.  During the course of her career, she has delivered awards as a sole arbitrator spanning the petroleum, insurance, banking, industry and corporate sectors.

Ms Kariuki has been listed as a leading individual in Chambers Global and has been nominated by the Government of the Republic of Kenya to the Panel of Arbitrators at ICSID. Additionally, Ms Kariuki has been a member of the ICC International Court of Arbitration, representing Kenya, since June 2008. We are very much looking forward to what promises to be a very interesting discussion and we hope you can join!
