Biography
Mary Mutupa MCIArb, is an author, human rights and dispute resolution lawyer, gender and governance expert with more than 14yrs of management experience and 17 years overall national and international work experience mostly in the civil society sector. She currents works as an independent consultant. She holds a Master’s Degree in Human Rights Law, Bachelor’s Degree in Law, Post-Graduate Diploma in Teaching and Lecturing methodology and other professional trainings in Monitoring and Evaluation, Arbitration, Mediation, Gender, Labour Law and Industrial Resolutions, Results Based Management among others. She has extensive knowledge and experience in dispute resolution, designing tools, training content, guidelines and building capacity for different stakeholders in conflict management. She has experience working in Zambia, West Africa, and Southern African countries on a broad range of issues. She has demonstrated experience in the promotion of dispute resolution as an alternative mechanism as illustrated in her work experience in lecturing at one of the biggest Universities in Zambia, her publication work about dispute resolution in Zambia, capacity building training of various stakeholders who include civil society organizations and government agencies among others.
