Biography
Karim Mariey is a senior Associate in the London Construction and Engineering group of White & Case LLP. He advises owners and contractors on the resolution of disputes arising out of international construction and engineering projects, with a particular focus on projects in the Middle East and North Africa, and has experience in litigation, arbitration and mediation. Karim is a native Arabic speaker and is qualified to practise in England & Wales. Karim sits on the Society of Construction Law Astra Committee and is regularly invited to speak on issues relating to construction law and arbitration. Karim is also a contributing author of “Commentary on the UNCITRAL Model Law on International Commercial Arbitration” (ed. Ilias Bantekas), Cambridge University Press, 2020.
