Biography
Isaac is the Managing Partner at Lex Chambers, a Law Firm in the Rwandan Capital, Kigali, and he has been practicing at the same Law Firm since 2008. At Lex Chamber, Isaac heads corporate, commercial & employment Litigation, and Arbitration desk. He serves the Firm’s clients in a manner that can best be described as highly professional and satisfying in terms of quality and timely service. Lex Chambers is among the 5 top tier Law Firms in Rwanda since 2013 as ranked annually by East African Law Society’ Leading Law Firms Forum service.

In his capacity as a lawyer, Isaac is a representative of his clients, an officer of the legal system and a public citizen having special responsibility for the quality of justice. This implies that he understands the importance of a trust and confidence, which a client bestows into his/her lawyer to protect and secure his/her interest whether it is already threatened, or there is a potential threat. Isaac who is a certified and licenced insolvency administrator in Rwanda, holds LLM in International trade and Commercial Law from University of Essex, England, MA in Human Rights at the University of London in 2004, a Post Graduate Certificate in international Business law, University of Cumbria (UK) 2018, and LLB degree from National University of Rwanda in 1999.

In addition to the above academic qualification, Isaac holds Membership certificate and is a member at Chartered Institute of Arbitrators [CIArb-London] since 2014. Isaac holds Certificate in FIDIC construction contracts (1999). He is on panel of domestic arbitrators at Kigali International Arbitration Centre, a member of East African Law Society, a member of INSOL international, and American Bankruptcy Institute [ABI]
